Girls on 5th grade study The Cell

There, we could see that different cells have diferent shapes, although they share the same structure: membrane, nucleous and cytoplasm.

This week, the girls of 5th grade found out what the smallest element in a living thing is: the cell. For that reason we went to the lab and observed human and onion cells. The human cells were collected from the inside of the mouth by scraping and dying them. The onion cell was a sample prepared previously. There, we could see that different cells have different shapes, although they share the same structure: membrane, nucleous and cytoplasm.
In the one hand they observed the human cells in isolation,on the other, the onion cells were together like bricks in a wall, which made it easeier to understand the cell's organisation: forming tissues, organs, systems and body.
How interesting!!
